Scan common wrap sizes for skinny tumblers, mugs, and custom blanks. Always measure your blank before printing.
Straight 20 oz skinny tumbler wraps often start near 9.25-9.35 in wide by 8.10-8.30 in high. A 30 oz skinny tumbler often starts near 10.00-10.20 in wide by 9.20-9.40 in high. Use 40 oz handled cups only after measuring the front panel or split layout.
Use these dimensions as practical starting points. Measure every tumbler or mug before printing because cups with the same ounce label can vary by brand.
| Product / blank type | Common size | Suggested wrap width | Suggested wrap height | Bleed recommendation | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20 oz skinny tumbler | 20 oz | 9.25-9.35 in | 8.10-8.30 in | Add 0.10-0.25 in total bleed | Common starting point; measure circumference and body height. |
| 30 oz skinny tumbler | 30 oz | 10.00-10.20 in | 9.20-9.40 in | Add 0.10-0.25 in total bleed | Tall skinny blanks vary by supplier. |
| Straight tumbler | Straight blank | Measured circumference + overlap/bleed | Measured straight body height + bleed | Add 0.10-0.25 in after checking seam fit | Use a rectangle only when top and bottom circumference are effectively the same. |
| 16 oz tumbler | 16 oz | 8.50-9.10 in | 6.50-7.20 in | Add 0.10-0.25 in total bleed | Check lid taper and bottom curve before printing. |
| 12 oz kids tumbler | 12 oz | 8.00-8.60 in | 5.20-6.00 in | Add 0.10-0.20 in total bleed | Use smaller artwork and keep seam detail simple. |
| 16 oz glass can | Glass can | Often near 9.40-9.80 in | Often near 4.20-4.80 in | Use supplier template or measured paper test | Glass can blanks vary; keep this as a cautious starting range. |
| 11 oz mug | 11 oz | 8.50-8.75 in | 3.50-3.75 in | Add 0.10-0.20 in total bleed | Keep important art away from the handle gap. |
| 15 oz mug | 15 oz | 8.75-9.10 in | 4.00-4.35 in | Add 0.10-0.20 in total bleed | Mug press pressure and handle clearance matter. |
| 40 oz handled tumbler | 40 oz | Use measured panel | Use measured panel height | Add bleed after panel fit is confirmed | Handled cups usually need a front panel, split layout, or brand-specific template. |
| 20 oz tapered tumbler | 20 oz tapered | Use measured template | Use measured height | Add bleed after template shape is confirmed | Tapered blanks need a template, not only a rectangle. |
| Generic custom blank | Custom | Measured circumference + overlap/bleed | Printable height + bleed | Use your measured bleed value | If using the custom calculator, divide circumference by pi to enter diameter. |
Use this chart for common starting sizes. Open the tumbler wrap size calculator when measured circumference, height, overlap, or taper should generate the final template, and use the template library for printable test files.
